What is Camp Fire?
Camp Fire is a nationwide nonprofit organization committed to empowering youth to become confident, compassionate, and capable individuals. With over 100 years of service, Camp Fire has been at the forefront of creating safe, supportive environments where children and young people can explore, grow, and thrive.
Our mission is simple: to provide all kids with the opportunity to experience meaningful outdoor adventures, develop lifelong skills, and build a strong sense of community. Whether through summer camps, after-school programs, or leadership initiatives, Camp Fire fosters a deep connection to nature, encourages positive social development, and equips young people with the tools to become tomorrow’s leaders.
At Camp Fire, we believe every child deserves the chance to discover their full potential—regardless of background or financial circumstance. That’s why we are dedicated to creating inclusive programs that welcome everyone and ensure no child is left behind.
By joining Camp Fire, young people not only make lifelong memories but also develop essential skills like teamwork, leadership, and resilience. Through our programs, they build confidence and self-esteem, learn to take on challenges, and forge lasting friendships that help them grow into responsible, caring adults.
Whether it’s camping in the great outdoors, participating in community service projects, or honing personal growth through leadership development, Camp Fire is here to inspire and equip young people for success in every area of their lives.
